My previous food truck search party with Kitchen Eighty-Eight and with Modern Atelier were all about the savory food and sweet company. This time I’m doubling up on the sweet with ice cream treats and two of my sweetest friends! Let’s not mess around any longer and jump right in to this search party.
The Food Truck: I have seen Rita’s before and never took a second look…My mistake! You. Guys…you must try the Gelati. It’s custard and Italian Ice layered together to create a refreshing and rich yumminess. Trust me!
The Search Party: The two gals who came to party with me are two of the good ones. Sadie of Simply Sadie Jane is honestly one of the most genuine and kind people I have ever met. She and I chatted about how to be authentic as bloggers (which is kind of hard when there are so many voices telling you what to be and what not to be). It is also kind of an abstract thing to assess if you yourself are being completely genuine. Sadie was so encouraging to talk with because she is so in touch with her readers and in touch with being true to herself. Sadie also has an amazing weight-loss story and I do her fitness routines a couple times a week! Another go-getter that I always love hanging out with is Aubry of Hello Maypole. I love talking business with Aubry and discussing what is up in the felt ball world. Aubry is the queen of felt balls and I just bough a pack of her Halloween assortment because they are spot-on. And although we love to chat about balls (wink)…we always end up talking personal stuff too. Aubry also works for a group of engineers managing projects so spending all day in an office of mostly men is actually kind of an anomaly in the “blogger world”. Weird huh! She always has some funny stories. We also talked about the color differentiation between Pantone colors and photographs of felt balls…so you know, interesting stuff.
