I am so excited about my fall family photos this year. You can probably tell because I post about them a little too often on social media (I make no apologies) and I will be dedicating two blog posts to them (okay I am a little sorry about that one) and they will be featured in our Christmas cards this year (I can not wait to share these!). It’s not so much that I love seeing us over and over again, I’m not that vain ;), but I love how Sam captured us interacting so organically. Sam of Pierson Photo Company really is one of the most talented photographers-of-people that I have ever worked with!
Especially now that I have little ones, it feels important to capture them every year at the same time of year. I see how they grow and change and how they grow closer together. Family photos remind me of how I looked when pregnant (like a glowing beached wale), how Liam looked when just learning to walk, and now how Char loves toddling after her brother. Sometimes (read always) Clint teases me about my passion for fall family photos, but he knows they are some of my most prized possessions. He really is such a good sport about the whole thing and I know I submit him to more torturous photo shoots than most wives!
Our playful fall family photos this year were featured on 100 Layer Cakelet and I am feeling very honored. Here I am sharing a few of my favorites, but you can see all of the images on the 100 Layer Cakelet feature.
Also, because daaaaang: floral crowns by Lizy’s Lilies. She bomb.
